Bambu remains one of the only major printers that's completely vendor locked, and as you say, they don't open source anything they aren't legally required to.
I just think that Prusa is overstepping in their criticism of the MakerWorld launch. And that they're attitude towards Bambu in both this incident and past incidents is unreasonably hostile.
I brought up the Slicer drama mainly just to provide context that this isn't the first time that Prusa has lashed out at Bambu for doing things that are totally allowed by Prusa's licensing.
I'll admit that part of my issue with Prusa's handling of the situation comes from the tone of Josef's own tweets
"Anyone, should we add "Green mode" toggle to Printables so there is no reason to migrate?" Just sounds whiney and petty imo
