I had a dream last night that involved me standing in the middle of a large audience, tearing into someone who was angry her daughter was pregnant.

Dream me yelled “you can’t expect girls to say no if you never let them practice.”

I think my soul is still angry about being raised in a way that valued obedience and harmony over learning how to say no.
