In terms of experience they are not alike. They are both powerful but in different ways. I would quote McKenna who said that DMT is the middle of the mandala. There is nothing alike it.
I cannot recommend any of the over the other. But they should be used with a guide, especially ayahuasca. Don’t want to be lost alone with no one there to guide you. They are not toys so to speak.
