"content": "Adobe is a massive amount of labor, and of course, most areas will not let you build an actual adobe home anymore. They will force you to construct a reinforced concrete structure and then infill with Adobe- if you are lucky. Earthship style rammed earth in tire (with rebar) is pretty cool and has some precedent with building inspectors people might want to consider if they are long on labor/time and short on funds. I have worked on a few, albeit in the finish stages, but I paid attention to the structure on them while they were going up, so I am familiar with it.
