They are never comparable, even if they are similar, because we are different people. I believe that doing this it would be accepted, tolerated and adapted as much as necessary (which is everything) because that is what makes us human.
The (capitalist) society pushes us to lack patience, to hurry, to get immediate results and to divert our priorities according to the interests of a few. And we can see the results.
