Really twisted how the media still acts as if #Mastodon was an "owned" entity that moved on the whims of its creator, and that a nonprofit is a big deal. At this stage, Mastodon is a thing unto itself, that would continue evolving (perhaps even more haphazardly than now, but evolving) under any circumstances, much as it does today.
