In a paper published 10 years ago, it was shown that as we emit more CO₂, the ocean will warm up, lose oxygen, and become more acidic.
The only parameter the models disagreed on was whether productivity will decrease.
If someone is surprised by ocean warming, they haven’t been paying attention.
