I hate it when people are coy about how much things cost. The red pot with the domed lid was about $220 and considering the hardness of the clay that was a damned good price buying from the US.
Note that there is a white glazed pot and those are very affordable and perfectly good for brewing! You can get one just like it for $15. It's notable for being small. Most pots made for US markets are too big to brew in the gong fu cha style unless you have a dozen people over to drink with you.
