I heard they recently mixed up Chinese and Japanese iconography on the special edition, or something like that! I think they didn’t do any real research and are giving their game a “Hollywood” treatment (throwing all the different Asian cultural stuff under one umbrella)
At least that one game, Ghost of Tsushima, did alot of research and tried to be pretty authentic to Kurosawa movies and Japanese culture. It was made by a Western studio, too. Ubislop has no excuse to be this bad.
