My head is exploding. I am old enough to remember the #1968DemocraticConvention. Result of Democratic division: Nixon got elected. 7 more years of war in Vietnam. COINTELPRO. Etc. Anyone who thinks that a brokered convention in 2024 is going to unite #Democrats is crazy. It will exacerbate divisions that already exist. E.g.: when people mention Gavin Newsom & Gretchen Whitmer as alternatives, they leave out the very capable VP. Why? Do they know that Black women power this party? 1/ #Biden
