I don’t think it’s a place intended to “search for” or “go looking for” things, at least not at the start. For me it was a place to just write stream of consciousness shit, either my own or as comments on someone else’s shit. Then someone follows you, you follow them and eventually their shit and your shit intertwine. Every so often I’ll look at the global federated feed to see what the current “news pulse” is, but really, it’s just a mini diary for me. What I did/ate. What I think.
