There is worldwide horror and distress being expressed at the murder of aid workers by Israeli forces in Gaza, rightly and understandably.

But I can't help feeling a great unease that the killing of seven innocent western aid workers is receiving greater opprobrium than the killing of 30,000+ innocent Palestinians over the last six months.
