I don't understand people who live in NYC and say they never see any wildlife. I'm basically mobbed by creatures all day every day... snakes, birds, ants, beetles, hawks, snails... I have not seen a crab or fish recently, but it's only a matter of time one finds me on the damn subway.

Why did this little bird have to die right in front of me? I'm so sad you didn't make it down south. :( The free popcorn and french fries of the city are not worth it, little bird.
