Disabled elder here. I'm a stroke survivor. By balance is wonky enough that I can't ride a bike. I also have lived with a limp since a hit and run in 1970. So I can say this because it's about me, too.
No one who is physically impaired should *ever* have to defend themselves alone, least of all from fascists. That's what friends, comrades, and neighbors are for. And guns.
Guns make us equal. Without guns the old, the weak, the small and the disabled are at the mercy of the the young, the strong, the big and the able-bodied.
