Well, redistribution at the state level has worked (albeit imperfectly) for much fo the second-half of the C20th, so I am not sure where you 'objectively wrong' assessment is rooted. Of course, we can disagree about human motivations & ethical commitments (indeed, that is what a lot of political analysis boils down to), but what is needed is a reasoned argument about how we might start to try and at least address the workings of history...
