Our government has stopped respecting the constitution and the declaration of independence a long time ago. HT getting arrested under antisemitism laws aimed literally at him is a blatant violation of the us constitution. Yet antisemitism laws are passed and held to stand even though it violates the 1st Amendment. Same with gun laws, every single gun law passed violates the 2nd amendment.
It is stated, and I think this is the point your making is that it is baked into the DoI to literally overthrow a tyrannical and corrupt government. Which we as Americans have a duty to do if we are to respect the DoI when there is no longer a political solution.
