In my first year growing currant. The birds beat me to the berries by one day.

For payment I got a 10kg bag of organic fertilizer and boot 50 black currant cuttings.
More importantly I got information on how to propogate correctly. This included soaking the cuttings in a hydrogen peroxide bath and waxing the tips before planting.
