Funny how at the beginning (in Java 8 times) JVM was really bad at recognising containerization. It bypassed all the namespaced interfaces and tried to claim the entire server RAM and CPU. To the point that I had a really big fight with a head of the department at my previous company as he claimed that "Java simply won't fly in containers".
Of course it did fly in the end. But it didn't happen automatically because Java. It rather happened despite of that.
