We took a brief detour though considering Nigerian dwarf goats. But it turns out that they require a lot more work than the Kune Kune pigs, so that will have to wait until we can e.g. build solid wooden fences, etc.
There are a few places selling piglets right now, but they're all two hours drive from us, so that adds ~$200 (for car rental, gas, etc.) to the trip cost.
But one of them is on the other side of Davis, where the Bamboo plants are for sale, so it might be worth it?
