What we've decided is that the best way is to combine the creation of carbon sequestering bio-char from bamboo (which is also an AMAZING soil amendment) with our need for intense heat for roasting. It seems counter intuitive, but this way we can be truly sustainable in the way we process two notoriously emission generating crops.",
