the price you pay for being neurodivergent is that you have no choice but to notice the things that other people can dismiss. a coworker is giving me shit about my mouse and keyboard - but I will notice and appreciate all the little things that make it cost that much (the weight, the sound, the plastic texture, the action, the extra buttons, the shiny lights)
