"content": "I have had good results making biochar in a 55 gallon drum, with no holes in it, leaning over at a 45 degree angle. When fuel on the bottom of the barrel has burned enough throw more fuel on top to starve the bottom of oxygen. I have only done this with wood, but it should work with other materials.
