My mum's ballet watching partner dropped out at the last minute, so I've just been to see a dance version of Edward Scissorhands, although ballet is not my thing at all. It was brilliantly inventive musically, in its sets, lighting, costumes. In fact, utterly charming from the moment the curtain rose.
