I sketched out some ideas for middle events after realizing the narrative was pretty slim, but was still only on track for around 60k words when the previous books have weighed in around 100.
And last night an idea came to me (after skiving off early) that will make the ending feel much less abrupt. So I'm happy.
But the struggle is REAL.
