To all the #WritingCommunity looking to publish a book one day:
You can't quite prepare your ego for the result of getting what you get when you publish a book. If it fails your ego will be knocked about. If it succeeds your ego will ALSO be knocked about. Take care of yourself and find the time to breathe, eat well, and exercise. It's a hell of a ride, but it is impactful no matter which way it goes.
