Anyone switch from tech to something else that pays decently?

I can't get hired in tech anymore (over 350 applications in since my layoff); need to work remote; can't find anything that is remote, has hours, pays amounts that will cover healthcare and rent 🙃 I truly don't know what to do at this point.
