1) some ppl get offended when blocked and seek vengeance/harass on other platforms
2) think getting blocked means they “won” the argument
3) muting can make someone feel ignored/powerless so they don’t know if their comment even made a dent (which may be what the muter wants them to feel—give them no satisfaction if they’re being a troll).
