I have a 100 acre lake behind me, and maybe 6 others who back up to it. I have a pond on my own land. I have French drains running on contour of my sloped land that feed a 20,000 gallon cistern. A well. I am already entirely off grid. Hundreds of thousands of acres of grassland around. Millions of acres of pines. We have plenty elk and pronghorn. Lots of wild rabbits. I have chickens. Goats. Soon rabbits, and dairy cattle. A large walipini for growing year round. I even have a 75% in ground shelter with 3’ thick stone wall and built in fireplace. Made to exist if electricity doesn’t work at all.
