His wife, Mazal, managed to escape and his daughter, Moshe, was left to care for their five children. Shlomo was a kind and gentle man who was loved by his family and community. He was a skilled craftsman and had a passion for gardening. Despite his advanced age, Shlomo was still active and enjoyed riding his bicycle and driving his car. He was also a devoted husband and father, and his family was his world."
