There has been some work on getting nominatim to work with sqlite
https://nominatim.org/2023/10/25/sqlite-reverse.htmlbut if you're used to the Protomaps + Maplibre map stack, I don't think geocoding will give you that simple of a user experience.
Maybe you can get away with a very limited auto-complete based on your use case where you e.g. load all street names into sqlite and use their text index functionality?
