“In the event” This is standard cya. Lawyers understand that there’s a possibility of a 51% takeover by SOMEONE, so they are merely admitting to this weakness and protecting themselves legally and stating that they will follow whichever chain is ‘bitcoin’. How the hell do you know that this isn’t for the protection of their own customers? Why would they get people to invest billions, then switch to a less valuable chain? Everyone would sue. They are making plenty of money this way, if they took over the coin, they’d trash the very qualities it has that brought them those investors. I think you’re being alarmist
