Interesting. Do you think private vs. public control influences how much motivation exists to use women’s bodies for profit, and to try to profit from reproduction in general?
China has not been supportive of Chinese population growth so far, but it can sell artificial wombs and eggs worldwide.
So, I guess this means selling reproductive technology for profit is not at all exclusive to economies with private ownership (capitalist economies), but perhaps the general desire for a large population is exclusively or primarily capitalist?
