We spent a couple of days in Northern VA. It was really hard to get around without a car, so we didn’t. Public transport where we were mostly went in and out of DC and not between town. Most cycling that I saw was recreational on multi-use paths and not much anywhere else. Maybe it’s just where we were? Centreville/Fairfax/Vienna and only for a short period of time.
