I was young adult-ish when the last few came out. I enjoyed the easy read as a person who wasn't a big reader as a child. I never seemed to be able to find anything that flipped the switch and made me want to read 🤷‍♀️. I also read all of the Percy Jackson books around the same time...I looked at it as a reading something is better than not, and now I get to read them all again and talk about them with the kiddo ☺️. Buuuuuutttt I never dressed up or bought knick-knack type things, I do have knit and crochet books and have made toys for the kid.
