around 20 years ago i became famous for being an out queer teen there, lol just because i personally never understood how i could possibly be in a closet
so every time there was a story about queer things the english media there would interview me
for a time my name was 'openly gay Singaporean Adrianna Tan', in the newspaper, as though it was special or exciting or something (to my autistic / adhd self it just felt very factual and i could not understand why this was printable news)
