Struggling to figure out how to think about Threads today. I am sympathetic to the argument that threads allows bigots unfettered access to their platform to spread their hate and do considerable harm, and; thus, we should consider it equivalent to Gab or Truth Social, and block immediately and unconditionally. But that argument could apply equally well to, say, Gmail. Or, for that matter, Cloudflare. It seems intuitive that popularity *does* matter, but I don’t have a principled moral argument.
