I changed career 30, didn’t start my business until 35, and didn’t buy my first house until 43.

Compounding works for your career too. You should start investing in your career from very early on since it doesn’t require money, just hard work, intestinal fortitude, and integrity. Once you build up some equity the snowball really starts to run downhill.
