I focus on homemade food, made with fruit / animal fats. Minimally processed, low sugar, high protein, high fat, high fiber.

I make homemade cultured dairy, homemade bread as a treat or a side, and homemade fruit and vegetable juices. I also eat home cooked grass fed steaks. High quality authentic balsamic vinegar, and apple cider vinegar. I will eat nuts, seeds, grains, you name it. I do avoid seed oils in the majority of the food I buy, but I tolerate some.

I try to think of my body as not a single organism, but with consideration for being a living micro biome that is home to countless species that support each other's health and ultimately mine as well.

Eating cultured foods, and fresh raw fruits and veggies, I introduce new microbiological life into my system and the mix of foods feed all of them. There's science showing that the microbes signal to the brain what they need which is how we get cravings. I eat whatever I want, but more and more I'm listening not only to when to start eating, but when to stop so I don't eat too much.

Everything I eat these days is delicious, and in smaller portions. I feel good physically, and mentally I'm content and at peace. Life is good. ❤️

I highly recommend watching the Netflix documentary "Hack your health: The secret of your gut".
