I've always been interested in different languages, but in 2025 I've decided to work on really learning a new language.
To help improve my skills, I've been building a small tool which lets me display subtitles as text so I can more easily translate words I don't know.
Eventually I'll be polishing this up and adding some other useful features—like the ability to slow a video down—but it's already working well for me and I'll hopefully make the tool and the source code available soon for those who might also find it useful.
