Steve Rubell received a call from Halston who wanted to have a birthday party for Bianca Jagger at Studio 54.
On May 2, 1977, Jagger celebrated in grand style. The "best" people showed up...one of the bartenders donned a diaper and popped out of a cake, but the highlight of the evening occurred around midnight. A white steed was led out from behind a stage. Bianca took the place of honor astride the horse, which trotted across the dance floor.
