I don't think it is. Price changes perspective. I knew of bitcoin very early but it took nearly 10 years for me to take my first steps to learn about it. The price is almost always the first thing you see. You can try to teach somebody about bitcoin but everything sounds theoretical. From my experience price is the biggest factor that drives curiosity and it's not even close.
