Happy #MayDay to the 120,000 striking PSAC workers who have a tentative agreement today. It’s 3.0% per year for 4 years (12.6% compounded total), plus a pensionable one-time $2500. The ask was 4.5% per year for 3 years (roughly the inflation rate). They also get protections from arbitrary work from home bans.

Strike action for 35,000 CRA (taxation) workers continues, however. Both unions are without a contract since 2021.
