We saw wee shorbs on the sea shore.
Four shots (800mm, crop) at Crane Beach MA yesterday. We almost stumbled into the Plover community while heading off the beach because they were so well camouflaged, so we indulged in just a few shots before backing away to find a route to the access path that didn't inconvenience them!
The waterside sandpipers - and indeed many gull species - were enjoying a super-deluxe clam buffet delivered by Hurricane Lee the night before.
