npub198t8kgwqas59rvmnghzcdn6krzhxhpkyt2mt53e4g9sdnj74sszss5hasj (npub198t…hasj) I do think there's something important about the differences between what one can do *legally* (damn US privacy law and its general tendency towards either-or/public-OR-private dichotomies! but I'm also thinking about how, e.g., legal privilege works), what one can do *technically*, and what one can/should do *ethically*. I'm also thinking about how very often these things don't necessarily overlap and how degradation of privacy in one doesn't necessarily mean one should lose it in others.
