Jay Kuo explains clearly how, in seeking to create a catch-22 trap for Biden re: the border, Republicans have succeeded in putting themselves in the trap — and are divided as a result. They have played up the border "crisis" to attack Biden, but when a solution to that "crisis" is at hand, they refuse it — which runs the risk of angering even their own voters, who have been inflamed by the rhetoric of crisis.
