So apparently Neil Gaiman has either done or said something and become part of cancel culture. I do wonder when we will decide to appreciate the art or contribution even if we don’t agree with what they said or did? Btw I don’t have a clue what this is about. I simply saw a share about audible refunding his books purchased supposedly no questions asked though not if you’re in the UK. Meanwhile people still read Harry Potter. Lots of the things we might like be it art, music, books, etc. were created by people who did or may have done bad things or things we don’t approve of. I wonder when we will as a society choose to understand that we can separate the art from the artist rather than just burn it all down and hate cancel everything? I don’t have any interest in knowing what Neil did or didn’t do. Don’t come at me with supposed news stories because I don’t read news from anywhere circulated by others. I’m just thinking if we canceled everything created by someone who did something wrong or said something wrong etc., we might never as a society read anything, look at beautiful paintings, or listen to music. It is ok y’all to appreciate someone’s work. Really it is!
