Honestly, I had been trapped in a bubble, surrounded by people who believed everything I believed. It was a bit of a culture shock when I first moved to Nostr, but I'm glad that I extricated myself from what I realized was a stagnant, and unproductive echo chamber. I'm a lot more intellectually tolerant than I was, and that creates opportunities for growth. I'll never go back to the social media shit-show. There are all types of people here, and sometimes there are conflicts, but it's real. And real is a lot better than a comforting lie.
