I can almost understand the not wanting my tax money to go to others for some things mindset, but for me at least there are so many other things which we could be paying less for in taxes (e.g. weapons to Israel) before anyone has a good reason to get upset about paying for education or healthcare.
Alas, we don’t seem to get to choose how our taxes are divided by politicians though gosh knows I do what I can to contact my representatives and feel as if I’m constantly ignored.
