I hate how condescending children's textbooks are even about things they know are wrong (for example 7th/8th grade chemistry and it's amtomic models).

It's more indoctrination than imparting knowledge, it kills the imagination of normal children and it also shatters the confidence of smart children that can figure out that something is wrong but are not at a level to understand what.

I guess homeschooling is the only option.
