Jellyfin isn't the only software which offers this, but it is the one I use, and I've been very pleased with it.

I love having my stuff under my own control. No-one can remove stuff from my library. I can watch what I have bought.

I love the privacy that comes from it. No-one is watching or data mining or selling my viewing data.

I love my own, reasonably carefully curated, library. I still can't always decide what to watch, but at least it is nearly all stuff I like.
